ERICSSON, SENDO BEGIN ANTITRUST LEGAL FIGHT

Sweden's Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson on Wednesday launched a patent infringement lawsuit against U.K. mobile phone maker Sendo Holdings, the same day Sendo filed documents with the European Competition Commission accusing Ericsson of anticompetitive practices.

Enterprise management software company BMC Software is continuing its identity-management buying spree, announcing Wednesday that it is buying OpenNetwork Technologies, a maker of Web access management and single sign-on technology, for $18 million in cash.
