READER RESPONSE: MOLLY TO HANDHELDS: JUST DIE, ALREADY
OVERHEARD ON TALKBACK: You guys are missing Molly's point: it's not that no one is ever going to manufacture or buy another handheld. Clearly, if they still make pocket watches, there will always be some company willing to manufacture PDAs, too. What Molly's saying, and using a bit of dramatic license to get your attention, is that PDAs are dead as a mass market, "must have" device, the victim of ever-improving features in other devices.
